Collection & Delivery



PLEASE READ BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER:

We DO NOT SELL lone/single chicks or ducklings. A MINIMUM OF A PAIR must be purchased (Chickens & Ducks) and A MINIMUM OF X3 (Quail) - This excludes adult quail, which can be purchased individually upon request.

This is for the animals welfare. Quails, chickens, ducks and geese are social animals that strive in flocks and need others to be completely happy. Lone animals are exceptionally more prone to stress and this often causes animals to die earlier than their counterparts who have others to keep them company.​

Please remember - Survival is different to happiness 🐥




RESERVING HATCHLINGS:

Please include required breed, expected hatching date and quantity you would like to reserve.
No deposit required.
Reservations must be collected within 48 hours of us making contact, after this time your reservation may become available for other customers to purchase. Please ensure a prompt collection to avoid disappointment, or contact us if you are unable to meet this deadline.
Contact is usually made by email when your order is ready for collection (unless requested otherwise), please look out for this as your hatching date gets near.
Reservations are priority, and fulfilled on a first come, first serve basis. In the rare event we are unable to fulfil all reservations from any batch, you will be notified.

HATCHING SERVICE:

Some of our customers prefer to provide us with eggs themselves, and this can be a cheaper option especially if you already own poultry. Please be aware that we do not take any responsibility of fertility or hatch rate when this option is chosen. This service is available upon request and must be booked, this is to ensure we have space in the incubators to accommodate your order - please contact us for rates and further details.



COLLECTION:

Please contact us to book a time slot to view available animals or to collect an order.

Customers are welcome to handle and pet animals upon viewing, please just ask.
When placing an online order, please select the option 'Collect From Store' at the checkout.

After placing your order, please wait for a confirmation email, enclosed will be details on how to arrange collection.

All orders containing LIVESTOCK must be collected - unless a delivery invoice has been paid prior in full.
Collection location is Bognor Regis PO21.

LOCAL DELIVERY:

Local delivery available (within 10 miles.)

Please contact us for a delivery quote, please include your postcode.

ALL LOCAL DELIVERIES MUST BE PAID IN FULL PRIOR TO DELIVERY.

PLEASE NOTE - we DO NOT SHIP OR POST our animals, they are transported and hand delivered with care by the Hatchery. 

DELIVERY VIA COURIER:

We charge a flat shipping rate of just £3.50, no matter how much you order!
Delivery orders are sent via Evri tracked 3-5 day Courier Service.

You will receive your tracking number via email upon your order being dispatched.

We aim to dispatch your order within 3-5 working days.

Courier orders MUST NOT CONTAIN LIVESTOCK.

Courier orders including livestock will be cancelled and refunded.

Please see our returns & refund policy below:

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to us for a full refund or store credit.

  • All returns must be postmarked within 7 days of the purchase date.

  • All returned items must be in new and unused condition, with all original labels and tags attached.

  • To return an item, please email customer service at knighthatchery@gmail.com to obtain a return form and postage label - return shipping charges are paid for by us.

  • After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of the item, we will process your return.

  • Please allow up to 14 days from the receipt of your item, to process your return.

  • Refunds may take 1-2 billing cycles to appear on your statement, depending on your credit/debit card company and method of payment used when placing your order.

EXCEPTIONS - the following items cannot be returned:

  • Livestock

For defective or damaged products, please contact us to arrange a return and refund.

PLEASE NOTE - 

  • Sale items are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned.

  • Death of livestock after collection or delivery is not covered by our return and refund policy.
